The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation 15B0303201STQTRKOSHER, for the requirements of: QUARTERLY COMMON FARE/KOSHER ITEMS. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, and the delivery date will be on or around
OCTOBER 1, 2019. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield, South Carolina 29824. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government intends to make an all or none award on the kosher meals (LINE ITEMS 1-14), but reserves the right to make multiple awards on the remaining items. The government will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. The solicitation will be made available on or about
SEPTEMBER 17, 2019, and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2019 by 4:00 pm EST. All vendors will be required to submit a religious certification letter and a USDA inspection certification letter along with each bid. A statement of work will be included in the solicitation package outlining all of the details and food specifications. The Government reserves the right to make payment using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Quoters should include their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System For Award Management (SAMS) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees' DUNS number into the SAMS database. Failure to complete this registration procedure outlined in this solicitation, may result in elimination from consideration for award.
