The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Field Acquisition Office (FAO) is conducting market research for the Federal Prison Camp Alderson (FPC) Alderson, located in West Virginia in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, part 10. The FBOP/FAO intends to make an award for the provision of a post-secondary education program. The contractor will be responsible for providing a program that is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Suggested programs we would like to be offered include Certified Customer Specialist, Medical Transcriptionist, and Medical Insurance and Billing Receptionist. The Contractor will provide classroom and application instruction at FPC Alderson. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed and a contract may or may not result. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All information concerning this requirement will be distributed solely through the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is April 6, 2016. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be e-mailed to Charlie Dailey at cdailey@bop.gov.
