Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract for Common Data Link (CDL) Production of AN/USQ-167C(V) Communications Data Link System - Technical Refresh (CDLS-TR) Integrated AntennaSystem (IAS)
The purpose of this notice is to inform all parties that the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWARSYSCOM) intends to award sole source contract to Cubic Defense Systems (Cubic) in San Diego, CA. Cubic is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), designer and developer of the AN/USQ-167 CDLS hardware and software. PEO C4I is responsible for providing sustainment of the current CDLS and minimize impacts to the Integrated Logistics Support efforts required to provide Lifecycle Sustainment to the end users. The Navy requires Cubic to produce AN/USQ-167C(V) Communications Data Link System - Technical Refresh (CDLS-TR) Integrated Antenna System (IAS) items (two (2) directional/omni antennas, one (1) omni only antenna including hardware/software interface, and (3) above and below deck split radios with communications security module), provisioning items, and engineering services. It is anticipated that the current contract will be five-years. This announcement is for subcontracting possibilities only. The NAICS for this procurement is 334220 (with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees).
