The Federal Bureau of Prison, USP Big Sandy, located in Inez, Kentucky, intends to award sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Radco Electronics for the provision of Myers Power Inverters.  The NAICS Code is 811310. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 12:00 PM EST, February 5, 2016.  Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to can supply commercial items that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner. Vendor must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone and fax number, email address, business size, and DUNS number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Radco Electronics. Responses may be emailed by the deadline stated above. Faith-based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which that are eligible.
