On or about 29 July 2019, this office will issue Invitations for Bid for construction of the Missouri River Recovery Fish and Wildlife Mitigation 2019 O&M Projects. The solicitation will close on or about 13 September 2019.


This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION.


A site visit date and time will be issued with the advertisement package.

Project Description: (Approx. quantities)


The scope of this project includes repairs to several river structures that are part of the Kansas Bend MRRP site on the Missouri River. The structures include dikes and revetments within the chute and at the entrance. The project requires procurement, transportation, and placement of stone rip-rap. Execution requires stone placement at locations that are initially submerged to lines and grades as indicated on the plans. Land access is not available for the work, and the site is only accessible from the Missouri River. The project location extends from River Mile 547 to 544 on the Missouri River in Nebraska.


The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000.

The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 455 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bonding documents including the power of attorney shall bear an original signature by an officer of the surety.

Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to SAM.
