This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number W913E519Q0009 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333314 - Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing.
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement for brand name requirement for a FLIR Systems A6701 MWIR camera with the following technical specifications:
1. Capable of measuring within the mid-wave bandwidth, 3-5µm.
2. Cooled sensor with Indium Antimonide (InSb)
3. Programmable frame rate: up to 480Hz
4. NetD (sensitivity) < 20 mK
5. Weight <= 5 lbs. (2.2 kg), without lens
6. Measurement temperature range of -20°C to 350°C
7. Variable lens capability
8. Standard video interface with plug-and-play ability
9. Compatible with 3rd party software, such as Matlab
