The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), United States Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with PerkinElmer Health Science, Inc. located at 710 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT, 06484-4750. The USAYPG has a requirement for maintenance and repairs from Perkin Elmer of various equipment such as NexIon ICP-MS,(serial number: 815N9011902X); Cetac ASX-520 Autosampler, (serial number: 070918A520); PolyScience WhisperCool Chiller,(serial number: 1901-00293); Spectrum 100 Oil Express FTTR Oil Analyzer (serial number: 89579); including TECAN Liquid Autosampler (serial number: 1109001954); TurboMatrix 40 Headspace Sampler (serial number M41L0209133); Clarus 580 GC (serial number: 580S15043002); Clarus 680GC (serial number: 680S15061501)and Clarus 500 GC (serial number: 650N6121207. These instruments have unique designs and unique/proprietary parts or firmware/software that only a properly trained technician can service correctly. Perkin Elmer does not authorize third-parties to service their instruments. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and 13, FAC 2019-06, effective 10 Sep 2019. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 – Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a size standard is $20,500,000.00 Dollars. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm’s technical capability to meet these requirements by 23 September 2019, 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST). In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item.
