This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is advertised as a small business set-aside action in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The proposed award will be made as lowest price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), intends to award a firm fixed price for The Maritime Administration trash containers (dumpsters) that are 8-yard front-end load type for trash disposal services at the MARAD Layberth Facility (MLF). The address is 5320 Church House Road, Orange, Texas 77630. The Statement of Work is attached.
THIS AWARD WILL BE MADE AS LOWEST PRICE TECHINALLY ACCEPTABLE (LPTA)
