Liner Fabric Pre-Cuts, Poly Micro Denier Crepe Knit
This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2252N-18 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99. The North American Industry Classification System code is 313240 knit fabric mills, the SBA small business size standard is 500 employees.
This requirement is SET-ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESS. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year with three (3) options, firm-fixed price Requirements type contract for the following commercial item: Liner fabric pre-cuts, 100% polyester micro denier crepe knit, dyed with a chlorine retentive dye, black color. Liners shall have a hydro moisture management/wicking capability and antimicrobial treatment. The lining cloth shall be preshrunk. The knit fabric is for use in manufacturing Navy PFU trunks for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
