Prior to start of work, a pre-alteration asbestos assessment survey of the work area shall be conducted in accordance with GSA Policy PBS 1000.1. Survey results shall be submitted, reviewed and approved by GSA prior to start of work.
    
Demolition: In Clerkbs suite storage closet of J Bratton-Davis Courthouse, the contractor shall perform the following:

10.2.1    Remove carpeting.

10.2.2    Remove rear wall to extent necessary to allow installation of plumbing connections for new sink.

10.2.3    Remove/modify base in closet to allow installation of cabinets.

10.3     Renovation: In Clerkbs suite storage closet of J Bratton-Davis Courthouse, the contractor shall perform the following:

10.3.1    Provide and install hot water supply, cold water supply and drain connections for new sink. New connections shall be tied into existing systems. New water supply piping shall be B=b IPS Type bLb copper with sweat fittings and stop valves.

10.3.2     Provide and install new 24b base cabinets, solid surface countertop with 4b backsplash, sink and faucet on rear wall. New sink shall be stainless steel single bowl drop-in style Elkay # PSR1720 or equivalent. Base cabinet shall have opening (Approx. 22b wide) for small under counter dormitory style refrigerator. Counter top shall have approx. 1b opening with grommet for electrical cord near new receptacle. Cabinetry, sink, counter top and faucet shall be selected by USBC and approved by GSA prior to ordering.

10.3.3    Provide and install new 12b base cabinets and solid surface countertop with 4b backsplash on left wall. Cabinetry and counter top shall be selected by USBC and approved by GSA prior to ordering

10.3.4    Repair wall where plumbing connections were installed.

10.3.5    Prime repaired wall with one coat of low-VOC latex paint.

10.3.6    Paint approx. 170 SF walls in storage room with two coats of low-VOC latex paint with eggshell finish. Color shall be selected by USBC and approved by GSA.

10.3.7    Provide and install underlayment and ceramic tile flooring with grout. Flooring shall be selected by USBC and approved by GSA prior to ordering.

10.3.8    Provide and install new conduit, wiring, boxes, covers and one (1) each 15A 120VAC GFI protected duplex receptacle at refrigerator opening.

10.3.9    Clean up area and remove trash from site.

11.     Liquidated Damages: NA

12.     Other Requirements:

12.1    The Contractor shall submit a work schedule which will provide the most productive use of man hours without affecting the quality of the finished product; causing the least disruption to the tenant agency. Some work may need to be scheduled outside of normal business hours which are; Monday thru Friday 7:00AM to 5:00 PM at no additional cost to the government.

12.2    Contractor is responsible to move equipment or other storage items in use as required to perform work. Care should be taken to protect all non-affected areas. Work site shall be kept clean and neat at all times during business hours and the space shall be returned to the government for use each morning by 7:00 AM weekdays where occupied by federal employees.

12.3    Agency shall be responsible to move and store any agency equipment/materials.
