JPALS ARC-210 Generation 5 radio units
NAWCADAD-4.11.7, the In Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) for the Joint Precision Approach and Landing Systems (JPALS) program, has been tasked to procure the JPALS ARC-210 Generation 5 radio units to support the ship side system installations through a three (3) year, Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Rockwell Collins, Incorporated, 400 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52948-0505, CAGE 13499. Rockwell Collins, Incorporated is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the ARC-210 radios and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to continue production of the ARC-210 radios. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
