The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP04021500005 for the acquisition of various sized windows for institutional buildings for the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) located at Duluth, MN. The requirement will consist of a total of 385 building windows in varying sizes/dimensions. Deliveries will be expected within 30 days of the effective date of award of the resulting purchase order. This will be a firm fixed price type contract. Cost for delivery will be included in the unit pricing. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be made available on or about April 28, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 339999 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is May 18, 2015; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 (Block #8) of the solicitation for the actual date/time quotations are due. Quatations will be submitted via e-mail in PDF format. The solicitation is being issued as 100% total set-aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. The anticipated date of award will be approximately June 1, 2015.
