Announcement of Upcoming U.S. State Department Construction Project
New U.S. Embassy Compound, Hanoi Vietnam
The Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, US Department of State is seeking a construction contractor to provide preconstruction and construction services for a New Embassy Compound (NEC) in Hanoi Vietnam. Construction contractors that presently hold a top secret security clearance and modular building manufacturers and construction prefabricators are invited to attend an informational briefing on the Hanoi NEC project on June 19, from 1 to 3 pm in Room L400, 1701 North Fort Myer, Rosslyn, Virginia. The Hanoi NEC will consist of a chancery building, office annex, support annex, Marine security guard quarters, utility building, and four compound access control facilities with a total gross area of approximately 34,000 gross square meters. The estimated contract award amount to construct the NEC is in excess of $500 million.
