This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 12 & 13.5 under solicitation number N68335-19-R-0368. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-04. This will be 100% full and open competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335312 and the size standard is 1,250 employees.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement for the design, manufacture, installation and training of a new direct current motor system that will replace the existing 2350 horsepower direct current shunt-wound motor system located at the Helicopter Blade Test Facility, Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, Cherry Point, NC.
