Brief description of event:

We aim to host hundreds of riders from the region and beyond for a 125-mile, 2-day event. The supported ride aims to be a safe, fun experience for all participants with an overnight stop in New Jersey and an end-of-ride celebration in Philadelphia. The event is a peer-to-peer fundraiser for the East Coast Greenway Alliance nonprofit.

Our goal is that this event will become an annual celebration of the East Coast Greenway that increases awareness of our route, celebrates the progress in the region, and highlights the importance of protected trails and the additional resources needed to complete the East Coast Greenway. Events like this support our goals of health, sustainability, and economic development.

About the East Coast Greenway:
The East Coast Greenway is a walking and biking route stretching 3,000 miles from Maine to Florida, connecting our nation's most populated corridor. The Greenway is designed to transform the 15 states and 450 communities it connects through active and healthy lifestyles, sustainable transportation, community engagement, climate resilience, tourism, and more. It's a safe place for bicyclists, walkers, runners, and more - of all ages and abilities - to commute, exercise and visit new destinations.
The East Coast Greenway Alliance leads the development of the trail network, working with hundreds of volunteers, partner organizations, and officials at the state, regional, and national level to continue moving more of the route onto protected paths. Together, we are connecting people to nature and communities via a safe, accessible Greenway.
