Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The Government is seeking Information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2, Network Contracting Office (NCO2) is currently conducting a market survey for firms capable of providing the following:
Construction and Terminal Clean of Operating Room for NY Harbor Healthcare System
800 Poly Place Brooklyn NY 11209

Initial Construction Cleaning (3 day cleaning)
Removal of "CONSTRUCTION" trash & debris left on floors, walls and all items
horizontal and vertical
Dusting walls, baseboards, fixtures, and furnishings-cabinets counters and shelving
Vacuum clean/dust storage cases inside and outside
Shine all stainless steel and clean all workstations
WINDOW CLEANING
All interior windows, which includes vestibules, and all doors
Wash inside glass & window, remove all dirt, smudges, fingerprints, streaks and cobwebs
CERAMIC TILE/SLATE CLEANING
Dust mop entire floor area
Damp mop with cold water cleaner
VCT TILE Clean & Seal
Complete gum, embedded material & scuff mark removal.
Sweep & damp mop all exposed tile areas.
Effectively protect all adjoining floors from solution & run-off /splash spillage

Terminal Cleaning (2 day cleaning)
The following surfaces will be cleaned using an EPA registered disinfectant/sporicidal cleaner
Storage cabinets, supply carts and furniture
Light switches
Door handles and push plates
Telephones and mobile communication devices
Computer accessories
Chairs, stools, and step stool
HVAC vents
Trash and linen receptacles
Floors will be dusted and mopped with an EPA registered disinfectant
Walls will be dusted and wiped with a Hypochlorous Acid solution.

Personnel:
Contractor shall provide site visits by supervision/management to inspect and assure job performance of assigned personnel. COR will certify contract is completed to VA s satisfaction.

Except for items/services specifically stated to be government furnished, the Contractor shall furnish and maintain everything required to perform this contract in accordance with all of its terms.

Contractor is required to use only VA-approved chemicals in accordance with EMS and Infection Control guidelines. Storage of chemicals will be in accordance with VA regulations. MSDS Sheets must be supplied and on file for all chemicals utilized.
Training
Contractors working on site must be compliant with Privacy training. When coming on site all contractors must read and sign VA Privacy Training for Personnel without Access to VA Computer Systems or Direct Access or Use to VA Sensitive Information a signed copy of the training will be provided and maintained by the COR. This training needs to be completed annually.

The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 238990 Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email and must be received not later than October 9, 2019 3:00 PM EST. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, proof of capably, certification. DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex:SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing, and received not later than October 9, 2019 3:00 PM EST.
