SEEKING SOURCES FOR BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENTS FOR

Maintenance and repair of air compressors

CONTRACTORS RESPONDING TO THIS NOTICE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ISSUED A BLANKET PURCHASING AGREEMENT.

NO OTHER NOTICE WILL BE PROVIDED.

This Notice will be utilized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District to establish a list of sources interested in Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for services or supplies.

A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as defined by FAR 13.303(a) is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services by establishing " charge accounts " with qualified sources of supply. The BPA does not guarantee, nor obligate the Government to, any orders to a BPA holder in any way.

As services or supplies are required, the Government will issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to vendors actively holding a BPA Master Agreement. BPA holders will not be required to provide a quote on every RFQ. Quotes will be required to be submitted electronically via email.

Interested Vendors should be capable of providing all labor, materials, qualified personnel, supervision and quality control necessary to perform all work or provide all supplies. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with industry and safety standards.

To be eligible for a BPA, an Interested Vendor shall have an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM), at www.sam.gov. Questions concerning the establishment of the BPA's for services or supplies related to the subject project should be directed to the listed point of contact.

The responses to this notice will be used to determine any set aside. Multiple Master BPA agreements are intended to be issued based on the determined set aside, determination of contractor responsibility, price and past performance. The determination of responsibility will be evaluated according to the General Standards listed in FAR 9.104-1 FAR and Limitations on Subcontracting FAR 52.219-14 clause if applicable. Selected contractors will be issued a solicitation and a Master BPA agreement.
