Commercial Item, YARN for Terry Mill Plant Operations
This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2220-17 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1. The North American Industry Classification System code is 313110 fiber, yarn and thread mills, the SBA small business size standard is 1,250 employees.
This requirement is SET-ASIDE 100% for SMALL BUSINESS. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year firm-fixed price Requirements type contract for the following commercial items: Yarn, 4 types, for use in terry mill operations at UNICOR's Terre Haute facility. The finished products are for sale to federal government agencies.
