Commercial Item, Sheeting Material for Manufacture of Sheets/Pillowcases
This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2223-17 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1. The North American Industry Classification System code is 313210 broadwoven fabric mills, the SBA small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
This requirement is UNRESTRICTED. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year firm-fixed price Requirements type contract for the following commercial items: Sheeting material, 6 types, for use in manufacturing bedding sheets and pillow cases at UNICOR's Terre Haute facility. The finished products are for sale to federal government agencies.
