Commercial Item, Fabric Pre-Cuts for Liners, AF Trunks
This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2260-19 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The North American Industry Classification System code is 313240 knit fabric mills, the SBA small business size standard is 500 employees.
This requirement is SET-ASIDE 100% for SMALL BUSINESS. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year with two (2) options, firm-fixed price Requirements type contract with an EPA clause for the following commercial item: Liner fabric, pre-cuts, black, 100% polyester circular knit crepe. Material shall have a treatment with anti-odor and moisture management capability. The fabric shall conform to the requirements in Table IV (see page 7 of CRFD/PD 04-07, Revision D, and dated 9/30/2010). Important: See Amendment 1 for correction/change to Table IV. The fabric is for use in manufacturing Air Force PTU trunks for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
