This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2198-15 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-80. The North American Industry Classification System code is 313210 - Broadwoven Fabric Mills, the SBA small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
This requirement is SET-ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESS. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a three (3) year firm-fixed price Requirements type contract for the following commercial items: Fabric, cotton/polyester twill and cotton/polyester poplin, khaki and various other colors for use in the manufacture of clothing to be worn by inmates. The finished goods are for sale to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
