This is a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing the requirement for a maintenance contract to provide parts for four (4) DRX-1C Detector Digital Arrays. This requirement is for the Louisville VA Medical Center. This RFI does not guarantee the issuance of an RFQ. If you have the availability to provide the requirement, please respond to this RFI with a capabilities statement.
Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
NAICS code: 334517 and size standard is 1000 employees.
NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov.
This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
Requirement
The Robley Rex VA Medical Center requires a maintenance contract to provide parts for their four Carestream DRX-1C Detector Digital Arrays for the DRX REVOLUTION SMART CARE SELECT.

SCOPE: Contractor shall provide parts only coverage for the equipment listed above. The contractor shall also provide supplement coverage for detector head impact/drop/collision resulting in damage and subsequent replacement. There is no onsite support with this agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS: The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of parts needed for repair and maintenance of the equipment or be able to secure parts within three (3) business days. All bidders must warrant that any parts it supplies will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
