Synopsis

Description of Requirement: Cornell Submersible Pump

The Marine Corps Base Property Division at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune,

N.C. has a Brand Name requirement for a Cornell Model 4414T Submersible Pump

aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River Jacksonville, NC.

This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice

that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via Federal Business Opportunities

(www.fbo.gov) on or around 24 July 2019. The anticipated procurement will be awarded

as a Firm Fixed Price contract. The Government will solicit and award this contract

using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR Part 13, Commercial

Items. The Government intends to award to the quote who represents the lowest price

technically acceptable (LPTA) to the Government. This announcement is a presolicitation

notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government,

implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.

Set aside status:

The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside

requirement. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this

requirement is 333914, Measuring, Dispensing and Other Pumping Equipment

Manufacturing. The business size standard is 750.

Conducting Business with the Government:

In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the

contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.

Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
