The Government proposes to acquire, on a requirements type contract, a guaranteed total minimum contract quantity of 15 each with an estimated total contract quantity of 55 each of a CANISTER ASSEMBLY, P, NSN: 2915-01-179-4177, Part Number: H15369 applicable to the A-BJ APACHE weapon system.Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 540 Days After Contract Award (DACA) With deliveries to DoDAAC W25G1U FOR NEW CUMBERLAND, PA, 17070-5002. This item is limited in competition to MEGGITT DEFENSE SYSTEMS, INC., Cage Code 62228. The technical data for this part has undergone full screening per the DFARS PGI 217.7506, Spare Parts Breakout Program. The assigned AMC/AMSC is 3P. This item will be acquired for the second or subsequent time directly from the actual manufacturer as indicated. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. The Government has access to the data but does not own the rights to the data. The rights ownership has been verified through the Project Management Office. There is no cause to contest the ownership of the rights. Reverse engineering is not feasible.


All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: https://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
