This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The laboratory division requires several Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry benches to support their operations. See full requirements under the Additional Info heading(Additional documentation link).

Minimum Essential Characteristics
Brand Name or Equal

1. Requirement: Brand Name or Equal Pharmacal Quatricide TB Disinfectant EPA Reg#1839-83-8714, that meets the following requirements:

(1) The effectivness of the Tuberculocide shall meet or exceed the Brand Name item as demonstrated through
efficacy tests conducted during the evaluation.

(2) The effectiveness of the Bactericide shall meet or exceed the Brand Name item as demonstrated through efficacy tests conducted during the evaluation.

(3) The effectiveness of the Fungicide shall meet or exceed the the Brand Name item as demonstrated through efficacy tests conducted during the evaluation.

(4) The effectiveness of the virucide shall meet or exceed the Brand Name item as conducted during the evaluation.

(5) Shall be meant for disinfecting and deodorizing.

(6) Shall be designed to clean nonporous surfaces such as walls and floors.

(7) Shall be phosphate-free.

(8) Bottle size shall not exceed one gallon (3,785mL/bottle), but may be smaller within the same requirements.

(9) Bottles shall be in a container that is easy to grasp and control.

(10) Government estimates each case consist of 4(four) - one gallon bottles.

(11) Bottles shall be plastic to allow for use in Animal Biosafety Level 4 containment suites.

(12) Shall not exceed 40 pounds per case.

(13) Shall meet and/or exceed the specifications on the attached Material Safety Data Sheet for The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) Safety Division approval for use.

(14) Product quality assurance: Items will be returned to vendor if they do not meet specifications at receipt inspection. USAMRIID plans to conduct a Technical Evaluation of samples provided from all interested offerors submitting a proposal.
