AIR- 4.11 High Frequency Antenna and Ten-Meter Antenna Mast
NAWCAD 4.11.4, Special Communications Mission Solutions Division (AD- 4.11.4) has been tasked to engineer and deliver a modernized RIS, version 3.0 that includes an HF antenna, mast, and T-bar adapter through a sole source contract to C&S Antennas, Inc. C&S Antennas, Inc. is the only known solution, which meets the operational requirements for the deployed SOF operators in the field as it specifically, works in conjunction with other equipment designed into the RIS system. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies of services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
