The Saudi Arabia Management Office (SAMO), located at Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, MI, is planning to procure hardware and training required for servicing the Automatic Fire Suppression System (AFSS) on Light Armored Vehicles (LAV) under Foreign Military Case (FMS) SR-B-VTD. This market research is to assess current market capability to provide services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Interested companies must have existing work Visas for KSA.


This market research is to determine if there is competitive interest in providing a complete, self-contained refill station with spares and training required to support the refill of the Kidde Automatic Fire Suppression Systems within the LAV in Saudi Arabia.

The Automatic Fire Suppression System (AFSS) Refill Station is designed to provide a

refill capability to the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF). The Kidde AFES/AFSS Refill

and Minor Repair Station within the LAV is Kidde PN 476238. This refill station is to be

a complete, self-sustained unit including spares.

Training is expected to take place in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia and will include the following

training: 1) Safe Handling, 2) Refill & Minor Repair, and 3) Agent Recovery.


Contractor shall have existing KSA work Visas and capability to follow local labor laws.
