Item: 500 Gallon Tandem Axle Potable Water Trailer
Background: A similar water trailer was purchased in 2012. The purchase of a new one is needed because of water shortage during hurricane season to ensure feeding for staff/Veterans/Humanitarian assistance.
Scope. The 500 gallon water trailer can provide potable water up to 96 hours until regular water restoration is provided in case of emergency.
One 500 gallon tandem axle potable water trailer is needed for the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System to support the clinics during community partners, special events, and disasters.

500 gallon potable water tank and tandem axle trailer providing all the following characteristics:
500 gallon T-304 stainless steel 10 gauge oval, straight tank
Tank mounted directly to trailer decking
Welded finish with interior to be W-2 and Exterior to be W-2
One 20 stainless steel manhole
Led trailer lighting and reflectors to meet DOT specs with decals specified below

Trailer needs one Lunette eye hitch with 3 position adjustability and 4 commercial grade tires and LED trailer lighting and reflectors to meet DOT specs and a 7 way male RV type electrical plug
Heavy duty retractable wheel mounted Trailer dolly jack on tongue
Two trailer safety chains with hooks
Four tie down rings on each corner of trailer
Plain black rubber rear mud flaps on fenders
