At the end of 2009 there were around 600 sites on the network, all served by high speed, QoS enabled links, which reach over 50 000 people. The customer base is expected to continue to expand into other public sector markets.

Scope of the contract.
NYnet wishes to award a contract for 2 years with two options to extend for a further 12 months each for the provision of an Internet feed. NYnet plans to expand its existing Internet capacity by connecting Internet feeds to its Core MPLS network at no more than 2 PoPs. The tender is divided in to a core requirement and an optional requirement:
Core requirement: a managed solution for a single Internet link.
