The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide a whistleblower hotline, herein referred to as the Ethics Helpline or Helpline, which is confidential, secure, and efficient for the timely reporting of incidents by CalPERS employees, members, and stakeholders. The Helpline is a separate line and/or website that will provide 24-hour coverage to receive reports of any incidents. The staff receiving the calls will receive all calls and web-based reports while callers may remain anonymous. At this time CalPERS does not have an estimate of how many calls will be received.
