FCPS is soliciting cost proposals from telecommunications equipment and service providers to establish a contract for equipment purchase and installation. This contract will provide for "turn-key" telecommunications services that will connect Linganore High School to our network in order to access services from the main office locations. The intent is to network voice calls from IP phones to the existing Avaya S8720 Call Server located at 7630 Hayward Road for primary call processing and control and, as needed, with local automatic secondary processing and control at the school. The bidder shall provide a method to connect the school into the existing Foundry Ethernet network, thereby enabling voice services. A two-stage contract fulfillment will be required with stage 1 being within 60-days of award and stage 2 within 120 days of award. The cost for purchase and implementation of the voice system is estimated to be $142,000. Funding will come from the Construction Budget for Linganore High School.
