This sources sought request is a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in, and the resources to provide service for VA hospitals in Nebraska. This is not a solicitation announcement.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23), on behalf of VA NWIHCS is seeking to identify any vendor capable of providing after-hour and weekend radiology support. The type of professional diagnostic procedure coverage after hours and weekends is quite variable (i.e., MRI, CT, general diagnostic, etc.).

The NWIHCS geographic area is vast, encompassing all of Nebraska and portions of western Iowa. Studies interpreted will be from Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, and, if necessary, all associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC s) throughout NWIHCS. Services shall be provided at contractor s site, to be located within the borders of the United States. Connectivity will be through a Business Partnership Gateway, or a secure internet connection for Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) studies. These studies will be sent to the contractor s server from a server on VA property utilizing a secure internet connection, IP to IP.

The VA is contemplating a contract period of one year with four option years (not to exceed five years total) relative under the NAICS code of this notice.

Responses to this sources sought request must include the following information:
1. General Information of your company to include name, address, contact person name, phone number, fax number, e-mail address(s) and DUNS number and company website if available.
2. Socio-economic status of business (i.e. small business, non-profit, SDVOSB/VOSB, etc.)
3. Will your company enter a joint venture or other relationship to provide this service?

No solicitation document is available now; this notice is to acquire information only. Vendors interested in providing an offer must respond to a solicitation announcement that shall be published separately. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses, or procured through full and open competition. Responses to this request shall be e-mailed to the attention of Kyle Bauman, at kyle.bauman@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm CST 15 January 2018.
