The replacement chiller will be a new 60 ton chiller that has the ability to unload to the needed capacity, uses an environmentally friendly refrigerant, and is efficient at all operating conditions. Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) will also be installed on each of the two air handling units, the inlet vanes will be locked into the 100 percent open position, and the motor speeds will be controlled off of the duct static pressures. The project will also involve recommission of the controls and air balancing the facility.
