The Buena Vista Rancheria is implementing U.S EPA General Assistance Program (GAP) grant. As part of the application process for this grant, Buena Vista Rancheria submitted a workplan that outlined the main goals; objectives; commitments; outcomes and outputs for this grant funding. One of the commitments states that; the Buena Vista Rancheria will complete an Environmental assessment on Tribal lands.
To support these goals and the overall vision for protection of tribal lands, the Rancheria has decided to procure the technical services of an Environmental consultant to undertake a comprehensive environmental inventory on the Tribal lands as follows: 56 acres and 81 acres respectively in Amador County. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit submittals from firms that demonstrate expertise and experience in conducting cultural resource inventories and environmental resources inventories and preparing the resulting reports. This will enable the Buena Vista Rancheria environmental resources department to enhance environmental protection management goals; objectives and make recommendations specific to environmental planning for the Tribal lands.
