Description:
The US Army Contracting Command New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the US Army Garrison, Department of Public Works, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources to design and construct a memorial for fallen New Jersey Service Members who have made the ultimate sacrifice fighting the global war on terror in support of the Overseas Contingency Operations beginning 7 October 2001 and ending on 31 December 2014. The memorial will be located on a site of approximately 900-1400 square yards at Picatinny Arsenal. The US Army Contracting Command is seeking submittals of past designs/projects that would be applicable to this type of memorial. The intent is to construct a permanent stone memorial blending the names of 174 fallen service members into the design. It is expected the design would include appropriate 24 hour lighting of the memorial. Power will be brought to a disconnect point at the site. The estimated magnitude of the completed memorial is between $100,000 and $250,000. Interested sources are encouraged to submit capabilities data and examples of completed similar projects including total contract price. This information will be used to gauge industry capabilities.
