The Coal Liabilities Unit ("CLU") within the Department of Energy and Climate Change ("DECC" or the
"Department") is responsible for managing the resulting liabilities from the former British Coal Corporation
("BCC") and its subsidiaries. CLU requires legal advice and support in order to manage current and future
challenges.
