THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The purpose of this sources sought notice is for information gathering and planning purposes only for a one time installation service to be conducted on Laughlin AFB, TX. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
SYNOPSIS: The 47th Contracting Flight, Laughlin AFB TX, is considering the procurement of the following installation service. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract or any other type of contractual document.
CLIN 0001 - 1 each
Installation of two frequency converter connections to Bldg. 211 mechanical room. Frequency converters are: Cavotec Inet US, Inc., P/N 10050AAC64-50. 480 volt input power, 60 HZ 3 phase, 115/230 colt output power, 400 Hz, 3 phase 50KW. One input power connection required to each frequency convertor consisting of 4 wires A-B-C phase plus ground. One output power convertor to each frequency convertor consisting of 4 wires A-B-C phase plus ground. Wires must be run in conduit from power supply boxes to converters and from convertors to output power boxes. Wire size should be 4-0 gauge. The distance between the power box and the first frequency converter is 60 ft., between the power box and the second frequency convertor is 40 ft. Access hole, 2 each, will need to be drilled into each convertor (one for input power and one for output power). Grounds will be connected to the ground grid along the Bldg. 211 wall.
