computer programming health provider enrollment system
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (hereafter called the RFP) is to obtain fixed price proposals for an integrated Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)/Modified Off-The-Shelf (MOTS) solution to automate the provider enrollment process (including application, submission, review/approval, and post-enrollment changes to provider
information) for the California Medical Assistance Program (Medi-Cal) administered by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
At a minimum, the Provider Enrollment Automation Project (PEAP) solution provider will be required to provide the following:
?Project management and qualified staff throughout the term of the contract; ?Software and licenses required for the solution; ?Identification of all hardware required for the development, test/training, and production environments; ?Integration of all hardware and software components; ?Design, Development, and Implementation (DD&I) of the solution meeting the RFP requirements; ?Testing of the solution (unit, system and acceptance) in joint effort with DHCS; ?Data conversion of legacy data; ?Knowledge Transfer and training for Information Technology (IT) support staff and business staff; ?Production support for the solution for a period of two (2) months; and
?Warranty of the solution for a period of six (6) months.
