THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any contractor responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the government to determine the contractor's qualifications to perform work. Respondents are advised that the government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation.

The Oregon Air National Guard is seeking information on sources that are available to provide base-wide HVAC repairs at the Portland Air National Guard Base in Portland, Oregon. The repairs include removing portions of the existing system, and designing and installing new portions of the HVAC system in the following buildings: B135, 140, 142, 290, 302, 400, 475, 485 and 491.
The design and install must connect to and be compatible with the existing DDC main computer. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.


Interested firms shall respond to this notification with a narrative that shall not exceed five type written pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (attached to this announcement) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor and (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Information shall be provided via email to: email. The response will be submitted via e-mail to nicollette.a.kennemer.mil@mail.mil no later than 1500 Pacific Standard Time on 6 April 2017.


At this time, due to shortage in personnel and increased requirements, meetings with potential vendors will not be accepted. In the future and if these requirements are solicited for, the ORNG may provide for an opportunity to meet with government officials prior to the proposal due date.
