The Village of Wilmette, Illinois, population 27,651, is currently accepting proposals from qualified land use planning professionals interested in assisting in an update of the current Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map. The selected firm will be asked to prepare amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Map that are consistent with the Villages Comprehensive Plan, and planning goals recently identified by the Land Use Committee of the Village Board. In addition, the selected firm will be responsible for working with the Village Board of Trustees, Village staff, the Plan Commission, other Boards and Commissions, as well as residents and business owners. This assignment will involve attendance at public hearings and meetings.
