This agency proposes to issue letter solicitation SPE4A6-19-R-0222 for a five year long-term strategic initiative for the following NSN:
6695-01-342-2983, Z9N, FA-18,A-D,E/F,G (GROWLER), TRANSDUCER, MOTIONAL
MASON ELECTRIC COMPANY, CAGE 81579, P/N 896-4126
Only one NSN is targeted for this new 5 year Long Term Contract (LTC) initiative. It is anticipated that the part number s cited above will be priced for the initial contract award.
The proposed action is intended to be awarded as Unrestricted, Other Than Full & Open Competition. The award effort for this acquisition for this NSN has been previously awarded to Triman Industries against prior automated awards. There is no current LTC initiative.
The proposed contract will be for a total of five years of performance to include a base year and four option periods. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This solicitation is proposed to be IAW FAR PART 15 effort. The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract IAW FAR 16.103. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.
This will not be a competitive awarded contract since offers can only be submitted by the approved source, however, an alternate offer can be evaluated for award. Best value selection methods will be used only if other sources are approved. The Government will award a single award contract for this action. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) by January 08, 2019. No Surge applies. The issue date will be January 08, 2019 and the closing date is February 07, 2019.
