Youth Employment and Training Services
The County is requesting proposals from qualified agencies to provide employment and training
services for younger (in-school) youth and older (out-of-school) youth under the Workforce
Investment Act (WIA) of 1998, PL 105-220, 29 USC 2801.Contracts for services developed from this RFP will be for approximately a two (2) year period
beginning on or about July 1, 2010 and ending on or about June 30, 2012. Any ensuing contract will be renewable, at the sole and complete discretion of the County, for up to two (2) additional years subject to certain criteria. Proposers can respond to serve either in-school youth or out-of-school youth or both.
