X-Ray Tube for PANalytical Axios X-Ray Flourescence Spectrometer (XRF)
THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate with PANalytical Incorporated, 117 Flanders Road, Westborough, MA 01581 for an X-Ray Tube,on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source.
CBP Laboratory and Scientific Services Southwest Regional Science Center in Houston, TX has a requirement for the procurement and installation of a Super Sharp Tube with RH Anode 4KW with operation up to 60KV and 125mA that is fully compatible with the PANalytical Axios X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF). The tube must conform to the unique specifications of the proprietary XRF system in order for the system to function properly.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with PANalytical Incorporated. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal. It is anticipated that the order will be awarded to PANalytical Incorporated on or about June 17, 2014.
If any interested person believes it can meet the above requirement, they may identify their interest and capability via e-mail. The capability statement must include sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. All responses may be e-mailed to [email protected]. ; Verification of receipt of response is the sole responsibility of the interested person. A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based on any responses received is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responsive statements are received by June 13, 2014 at 12:00pm EDT, an award will be made to PANalytical Incorporated.
