The statement of work identifies instructional activities designed to improve the ability of the U.S. Army War College (USAWC) students to negotiate the academic program at the USAWC and to communicate effectively in writing at the graduate level. The work is organized into three elements or line items: (1) Formal Classroom Instruction, (2) Editorial Counseling and Individual Consultation, and (3) Student Assessment. This statement of work covers the period 1 August 2009 through 31 July 2010 and is subject to revision as the needs of the students and the Communicative Arts Program may warrant.
