Receipts Analysis and Control Division (RACD), USCO is implementing a project to improve the workflow of material between the
division and the business units it supports. The new process involves the purchase of mobile book carts that would serve as mobile
shelves which would be assigned directly to examination staff from RACD. This eliminates the movement of material to shelves for
thousands of items per week. It would speed up delivery to staff, give greater control over the whereabouts of materials, and improve
security by limiting time that material spends in non-secure areas. By limiting the number of times a given object is lifted and/or
placed on a shelf, staff would be less prone to injury while the design of the proposed carts would improve ergonomics. The contractor shall provide wooden book trucks.
