Wireless Technologies Equipment, Services, and Plan Optimization
The Department is soliciting proposals from qualified providers for cellular telephony,
Blackberry, smartphone and laptop aircard equipment, airtime service, migration service, and plan optimization
for the State of Alaskas fifteen Executive Branch Agencies.
The State does not guarantee purchase of any minimum number of devices or any minimum amount of air time.
Wireless devices owned by State employees receiving the monthly allowance, satellite phones, iPhones, bag phones,
and pagers are not included in the scope of this RFP.
The State understands that no one provider has complete statewide coverage. Remote areas, such as Western
Alaska where only one vendor provides service, are out of the scope of this RFP.
