Wireless Network Proposal
Our network consists of wired CAT6 switched Ethernet network with a fiber backbone. Due to the wired nature of our network, we currently have to run cabling down the middle of the conference tables. This makes it difficult for others to use these rooms for regular meetings.
More and more consultants are connecting to our network. These consultants provide their own laptops that SURS has no way of securing. This creates a greater risk to SURS. Additionally we provide training for people outside of SURS. These individuals are asking for an internet connection so they can check on emails and keep in contact while they are away.
