Wireless Access Upgrade-Dormitory Buildings
This project consists of additions of Wireless Access Points (WAP) to existing Dormitory buildings at the University. Work includes the installation of wireless devices and associated conduit, surface mounted raceway, device plates, devices, wiring, connections and testing. The work will require temporary removal and replacement of acoustical ceiling tiles to accommodate work. The existing wall construction in most locations is concrete masonry in which will need to be penetrated (core drilled and fire proofed) for conduit routing as indicated on the drawings. Scheduling of work must be coordinated with the Campus Authorities prior to start of work due to the dormitories being occupied.
