Wintersteiger Small Plot Combine Repair
The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Lincoln NE has a requirement to have our existing Wintersteiger Elite 1400 Small Plot Combine repaired. The repairs consist of replacing the engine upgrading the reel, conveyor, and drive mechanisms to bring our combine up to OEM requirements. The USDA ARS intends on negotiating with the only known source Wintersteiger in Ankeny IA . This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received within TWO days
after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the
Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the
discretion of the government reference is made to .FAR PART 13. Information received will be considered solely
for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements are to be
