This is a request for information and capabilities only. This is NOT a Request of Proposals and no contract shall be awarded based on this Sources Sought Notice. Army Contracting Command--Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Huachuca Division, is conducting nationwide market research to determine the availability and capability of companies, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations to conduct problem wildlife management services at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, ZIP Code 85613. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Notice or any follow-up information requests. ACC-APG, Huachuca Division's determination on how to compete/award the proposed requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.

Work consists of providing nuisance wildlife control for the U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) cantonment area (populated area) on a "per call basis." Service offeror will provide human-wildlife conflict management service support for the Directorate of Public Works, Environmental and Natural Resources Division (ENRD) program. The work will NOT include care, capture, trapping or control of domesticated animals. The primary focus will be on managing human-wildlife interaction issues and will involve any number of management actions to resolve these issues.

Managing human-wildlife interaction incidents, both annoyances and life, health and safety, are a common requirement of ENRD. Management actions will result in the protection of wildlife and other natural resources, property, and human health and safety. Service offeror will respond to human-wildlife conflict calls within 30 minutes of notification, resolve as appropriate, 24 hours a day/seven days a week/365 days a year. Service offeror will obtain and maintain at their expense, all applicable federal and state permits and certifications while complying with Fort Huachuca specific reporting requirements.

Nuisance wildlife includes, but is not limited to: birds, bats, snakes, skunks, raccoons, ringtail cats, javelina, bobcats, coyotes, deer, mountain lions, bear, etc. found in Southeastern Arizona. Response may require (in no particular order) relocation, euthanasia, or testing of wildlife, as well as removal of roadkill.

Work performed under this projected firm fixed-price contract will be within North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 924120, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Program Administration. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. MST on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. Responses shall be e-mailed to Tie H.
